Clare's floor cloths (area rugs), a revival of a Victorian art form particularly popular in Britain and Europe, are detailed hand-painted works in acrylic on canvas. The floor cloths are incredibly hardwearing (all cloths are finished with 7 coats of flexible varnish and optional non-slip backing), and can be in regular use on the floor for many years or hung on the wall for display. Commissions are always welcome. |
